Why we made Bushmaster® M4A2 Patrolman's™ Carbine Carry Handle - CA Compliant
In the tradition of the original Bushmaster®, we brought the M4A2 PATROLMAN’S rifle to the American Sportsman. This recreation of the vintage A2 rifle keeps the classic look of the original Bushmaster® M4 from the late 1980s through the early 1990s.
The M4A2 features our integrated A2 carry handle upper receiver, chrome-lined 16” barrel, and chrome-lined bolt carrier group. To keep the furniture classic, it comes with a 6-position buffer tube paired with a CAR stock.
This second variation in our A2 carry handle lineup will be a proud addition to hang on anyone’s gun wall or to take out on the next big range day. The Bushmaster® M4A2 PATROLMAN’S pays tribute to the classic look of the 80’s AR15 build.

Why this is California Compliant?
Keeping with the tradition of offering legal firearms to the American People, Bushmaster® has created variations on our most popular firearms meeting California Firearms Laws.
Every California Compliant Bushmaster® is equipped with a DFM® 10rd magazine and the lower receiver model is XM15-CA. In addition, every rifle shipped to a Federal Firearm Licensed dealer located in California has California DOJ approval.
The DFM® magazine requires disassembly of the action to remove the magazine. This means there are no permanent alterations required. The limiting tabs prevent release through the bottom of the magazine well and can only be removed from the top when the upper is tilted out of the way.
Installation requires removing and reinstalling your bolt catch.

Firearms Shipments:
In accordance with federal regulations, firearms may only be shipped to a licensed dealer. To avoid any delays in delivery, kindly ensure that you provide the FFL Dealer's information in the Shipping Directions when placing your order. If you do not provide the information with your order, we will reach out and request you provide us with your dealer's information to obtain a copy of their FFL. Once we receive the FFL, we will begin processing your order, and the lead time will start from that point. Lower Receivers Shipments:
Lower receivers are also considered firearms under federal regulations and require an FFL (Federal Firearms License) prior to shipment. Therefore, it is important to ensure that your FFL dealer sends us a copy of their license, along with your name and order number via email. We appreciate your attention to this matter as it helps us ensure a smooth and timely delivery of your order. Magazines Shipments:
The magazine capacity of the firearm will depend on the jurisdictional restrictions of your state of residence. We want to ensure you receive a product that complies with your state's regulations.
