Bushmaster® is expanding and in need of a full-time Shipping and Receiving Assistant.
This position is at our Minden, NV facility.
Minimum Requirements:
• A positive attitude and meticulous attention to detail are required.
• Excellent computer and math skills. Microsoft Word, Excel, ability to manage emails,
scanning and saving documents, confidence in using the internet, keying +35 WPM
and 10 Key Calculator.
• QuickBooks experience a plus.
• Exceptional counting/math skills.
• Must be self-motivated and show initiative.
• Great organizational skills.
• Able to communicate with vendors via phone and email about discrepancies.
• Making and adapting to changes on the moments notice.
• Previous military and law enforcement is welcomed.
• Must be able to pass an extensive background check.
• Must be able to possess a firearm under Nevada and Federal law.
• Must pass a drug test.
Physical Demands:
• Operating of lift trucks, hand trucks and sometimes fork lift to convey, move or hoist
materials to proper departments or areas.
• Moderate walking, standing, lifting, carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching.
• Work outside and inside, around moving objects, and with machinery with moving
parts .
• Required to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to be on feet for long periods
Work Environment:
• Warehouse area with racking and machine shop nearby.
• Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, etc.
Other Expectations:
• Ensure that all documentation is correct including quantities and other records.
• Report defective parts/equipment or questionable conditions to the Operations
Manager.
• Maintain the highest level of safety and cleanliness at all times.
